The globally-acclaimed pinnacle of design experience celebrated on India’s culturally-astute shores for the first time.

A coveted showcase of the best of international architectural design, contemporary art, and innovative craftsmanship, the AD Design Show made its India premiere in October, 2018 at Mumbai’s iconic NSCI Dome. Displayed under its curated canopy of design excellence were works by award-winning designers across the disciplines of furniture, art, antiques, accessories, and lighting.

From the first-look at cutting-edge innovations by industry leaders like Bentley Homes, Trussardi Casa with Seetu Kohli Homes, and Roche Bobois, to Power Talks by Pritzker-prize winner BV Doshi, Vincent Van Duysen, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Nozer Wadia and Bijoy Jain, the much-awaited luxury event stood as the new pinnacle of art, design and architecture in the country.

Renowned art galleries from around the country showcased a body of contemporary art by some of the most eminent names in the field, while AD’s design team recreated the legendary Mumbai apartment of socialite Laura Hamilton. India’s rich heritage of craftsmanship was also showcased through installations and live demonstrations in the dedicated Karigar Zone.

Replicating the success of the inaugural edition, the AD Design Show 2019 also featured several curated programmes: power talks by distinguished art and design practitioners; masterclasses and workshops conceptualized by industry giants; a dynamic and interactive Craftsmanship Zone with live demonstrations highlighting our country’s many crafts techniques; a unique pop-up apartment inspired by a Mumbai society maven and design influencer; art installations; delectable food from acclaimed chefs; and a world-class exhibition experience at Mumbai’s NSCI Dome.
